Pricing and Quotes
Your session must be officially booked in order to lock in quoted or advertised prices, as they may change at any time. Prices are disclosed before booking, and no purchase commitments are required before seeing your images.
Session Fees & Retainers
The session fee is a non-refundable retainer and required in full to book your session. The retainer is to hold the session date on my calendar and to turn away other business or personal plans. It covers my expertise, planning, and time with you.
Contract
Because portrait photography is so custom in nature, I use contracts for every session so that all expectations and obligations are made in writing. Please note that only the custodial parent may sign my contract on behalf of a minor.
Model Release
My contract includes a model release, allowing me to use images for advertising or portfolio purposes. I will however respect requests to keep photos off of social media if you wish.
Copyright
Per The Copyright Law of Canada, the photographer retains copyright ownership to all images. By commissioning my services, you receive rights for personal use of your images with certain limitations.
Editing & Retouching
Standard editing and portrait retouching (lighting and color correction, skin smoothing, and blemish removal) is included. Extensive editing can be requested for a fee.
Artistic License
I present to you only the edited images from your session that fit my professional and artistic standards. Unedited/rejected images will not be available.
Product Orders & Payment Plans
Images will only be presented at your ordering appointment; additional ordering appointments are subject to a fee. There is no minimum order requirement. Fees must be paid in full before orders are fulfilled. Prices are valid for sixty days from the session date. Payment plans are available. After sixty days from the session date, an archive fee will be applied and products will be subject to current prices. After one year from session, images are not guaranteed available. All orders are final, and may not be adjusted.
Digital Image Files
Digital image files are not included in the session fee unless stated. Digital files are available for purchase with a print release. Web/social media digital image files are for online sharing purposes only, and may not be printed or altered in any way. Prints and products are only guaranteed for quality if ordered through the photographer.
Travel & Fees
A travel fee is required for locations beyond Colechester County. If a desired location requires a usage fee, permit, or special permission, this will be the responsibility of the client.
Accepted Forms of Payment
Cash, email money transfer, paypal, or credit card
(Visa, MasterCard, American Express) are accepted.
